DTS Package Compare is designed to compare DTS packages in a variety of the most useful configurations: between two live Microsoft SQL Servers, between a live server and a snapshot, or between one of the above and a structured data file on the desktop. For DBAs managing multiple servers it will save time and improve effectiveness when you need to find where DTS packages differ and track a package's evolution over time. Using the background compare feature can make DTS package change management a simply automated point-and-click operation instead of an enormously time consuming manual notation chore.
